1. International Women's Day 2025 Celebrations- 08.03.2025

International Women’s Day 2025 Celebrations were organised on 08.03.2025 by the Sports Authority of India (SAI) centre, Rae Bareli in collaboration with Feroze Gandhi College, Rae Bareli on the sports ground of the College. Tug- of- war and kabaddi matches were organised between the female students of the Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Science.

        The Faculty of Arts team led by Jahnavi won the kabaddi match by beating the Faculty of Science team by a score of 13- 11. Palak Soni, Palak Singh, Deepali, Akanksha Singh and Alpana were better performers from the winning team. On the other hand, the Faculty of Science team emerged as the winners in the tug- of- war match by beating the Faculty of Arts team by a score of 2- 1.

        The former Principal, Prof. Yamini Sharma graced the programme as the Chief Guest. Principal of the College, Prof. Manoj Kumar Tripathi and the Chief Guest, Prof. Yamini Sharma distributed prizes to the participating teams. Prof. C. Lal Professor and Head, Department of Physical Education of the College, Mrs. Anita Bajpai, Department of Physical Education, Mr. Abhay Kumar, Manager, SAI Centre, Rae Bareli and Ms. Shrishti Singh, the Coach of the Centre played were instrumental in organising the event.

        The Members of the Games Committee, Dr. Shamini Srivastava and Dr. Sonam Kumari Rawat, the Chief Proctor, Dr. Arvind Singh, Prof. Sanjay Singh, Shri Dinesh Singh, officials of the events, Shri J.B. Singh, Shri Rajan and Shri Pinku Kumar and the volleyball trainees of SAI Centre, Rae Bareli were also present on the occasion to cheer up the students.

2. International Women's Day organised by the Girls Wing of the NCC Company of the College- 08.03.2025

The Girls’ Wing of the NCC Company of Feroze Gandhi College, Rae Bareli took out a public awareness rally and also participated in an awareness discourse organised in the College to mark the International Women’s Day 2025. The ANO, Capt (Prof) Rajesh Kumar and the CTO, Mrs. Anita Bajpai were present on the occasion.

3. Tablets distributed to the left out PG students of the academic session 2022- 23- 10.03.3025

        Tablets were distributed to 327 left out Post Graduate class students of the academic session 2022- 23 on 10.03.2025 under the DigiShakti Scheme of Swami Vivekanand National Youth Empowerment Programme with the objective of increasing the digital literacy and skills of the students. The tablet distribution programme was supervised by Dr. Nilesh Singh, Dr. Yadavendra Pratap Singh, Dr. Deepak Yadav and Dr. Abhinav Singh of the University of Lucknow.

        Speaking on the occasion, the Managing Secretary of the College, Er. Atul Bhargava, who was the Chief Guest of the programme, said that the DigiShakti scheme has proved to be a very significant milestone in enabling the young students to prepare themselves for facing the digital challenges of a fast changing modern world. The Principal, Prof. Kumar Tripathi called upon the students to effectively utilise the tablets for enhancing their knowledge and improving their educational skills. The Nodal Officer, Prof. B.D. Mishra, Assistant Nodal Officer, Dr. Dhananjaya Singh and DigiShakti Committee Members including Dr. Punit Gupta, Dr. Vishnu Sharan Tripathi, Dr. Nirbhaya Agrahari, Dr. Shrawan Dikshit, Dr. Havesh Rana, Dr. Gulab Singh, Dr. Mahendra Mani Tripathi, Dr. Malkhan Shri Ramesh and Shri Kailash Nath Dwivedi played an appreciable role in identifying the left out PG students of 2022- 23 academic session and in ensuring proper distribution of tablets to them.
