      In a significant measure to provide economic aid to the meritorious students coming from economically disadvantaged families, Feroze Gandhi College, Rae Bareli provided Students’ Welfare Fund aid amounting to a total sum of Rs.6.00 lakh to a total no. of 400 students at the rate of Rs.1,500/- per student on the basis of income- cum- merit criterion.

      While the aid of Rs.1,500/- each was directly credited into the Bank accounts of 385 students, cheques of the value of Rs.1,500/- each were handed over to the remaining 15 sudents by Dr. S.K. Pandey, the Chief Guest of the Programme and the Joint Secretary of the Managing Committee and the Principal, Prof. Manoj Kumar Tripathi in a symbolic programme held on 04.04.2025. The programme was conducted by Prof. U.B. Singh, the Convener of the Students’ Welfare Committee which formulated the policy for disbursing the economic aid to the students. In the end, the vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. B.D. Mishra, the Vice Principal of the College. Other Members of the Students’ Welfare Fund Committee including Prof. Rajesh Kumar, Dr. Arvind Singh, Dr. Shikha Jaiswal and Dr. Garun Seth were also present on the occasion. Valuable secretarial assistance was provided to the Committee in identifying the student beneficiaries by the Office staff including Shri Dinesh Singh, Shri Alok Trivedi, Shri Sandeep Chandra Srivastava, Shri Virendra Pandey and Shri Santosh Pandey.
