1. Gold Medal awarded to ALKA GUPTA, student of M.A.(Psychology), Programme, Semester IV, 2024- 25 in the Convocation of the University of Lucknow- 10.09.2025.

        ALKA GUPTA, Post Graduate student of the Department of Psychology, Feroze Gandhi College, Rae Bareli was awarded Madan Mohan Agarawal Memorial Gold Medal 2025 in the Convocation of the University of Lucknow held on 10.09.2025 for having obtained the highest aggregate percentage of marks in M.A. (Psychology) Programme (Semester- I to Semester- IV), 2023- 25 of the University of Lucknow.

2. Two Gold Medals and a Cash Prize awarded to SWATI PATEL, student of M.A.(Sanskrit), Programme, Semester IV, 2024- 25 in the Convocation of the University of Lucknow- 10.09.2025.

       SWATI PATEL, Post Graduate student of the Department of Sanskrit, Feroze Gandhi College, Rae Bareli was awarded Km. Vimla Puri Gold Medal 2025, Smt. Chandra Devi and Radha Krishna Arunvanshi Gold Medal 2025 and Smt. Indrani Devi Memorial Cash Prize 2025 in the Convocation of the University of Lucknow held on 10.09.2025 for having obtained the highest aggregate percentage of marks in M.A. (Sanskrit) Programme (Semester- I to Semester- IV), 2023- 25 of the University of Lucknow.

3. One- day Symposium on "Say No to Single Use Plastics" organised by the Department of Botany, Feroze Gandhi College, Rae Bareli as a part of the 'Seva Parva' of the Government of U.P.- 29.09.2025

      A One- day Symposium on the subject “Say No to Single Use Plastics” was organised by the Department of Botany, Feroze Gandhi College, Rae Bareli in collaboration with Environmental Information, Communication and Awareness Programme (EICAP) of NBRI- CSIR Lucknow on 29.09.2025 in Feroze Gandhi College, Rae Bareli as a part of the “Seva Parva” announced by the Government of UP. The keynote speaker of the Symposium, Dr. Anju Patel, Senior Scientist and Co- Coordinator, NBRI- EICAP spoke at length on the harmful effects of the overuse of thermo- plastics, micro- plastics and thermo- setting plastics on human health and warned that residues of mico- plastics have reached human cytoplasm and saliva which is causing a great harm to human health. Hence the use of mirco- plastics in daily human use should be banned altogether.

     The guest speaker, Dr. Vartika Singh threw light on the Green Planner App, Mission Life, need for the conservation of energy and water, importance of planting ‘neem’, aloe vera, indoor plants etc for arresting environmental degradation. The Programme Coordinator, Dr. Sandhya Mishra organised the Quiz programme and prize distribution ceremony. Prof. Manoj Kumar Tripathi, Principal of the College delivered a very informative and scholarly address as the Chief Guest of the Symposium and threw light on the origin of plastics, the harmful effects of the overuse of plastics and the ways and methods of reducing the use of harmful plastics.

     Dr. Ashish Chandan, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Botany successfully coordinated and organised the symposium and Dr. Virendra Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany conducted the proceedings of the symposium. Faculty Members of the Department of Botany and other Departments of the College, including Dr. Pragati Srivastava, Dr. Bijendra Singh, Dr. Jainendra Pathak, Dr. Daisy Rani, Dr. Pravesh Kumar, Dr. Dhananjay Singh, Dr. Puneet Gupta, Dr. Gulab Singh, Shri Imran Ansari, Dr. Satish Kumar, Dr. Tariq Ansari, Dr. Sumit Kumar, Dr. Abhishek Singh, Dr. Shrawan Dikshit, Shri Kailash Nath Dwivedi, Dr. Zeenat Parveen and Dr. Prachi, were present on the occasion. In the end, the formal vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Satyajeet, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany.
