- Is a leading industrialist, philanthropist and social worker of Rae Bareli District.
- Was born in Rae Bareli on 13.06.1947 and received his primary education in a Government Primary School in Rae Bareli and secondary education in Mahatma Gandhi Intermediate College, Rae Bareli.
- Obtained his B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering as a student of Hercourt Butler Institute of Technology, Kanpur in the year 1970.
- Was selected as an Assistant Engineer in the UP Irrigation Department by UPPSC but instead decided to take up family business of running a brick kiln as per family decision.
- Subsequently demonstrated his entrepreneurial skills by expanding family business and establishing a floor mill, a rolling mill and a cold storage in due course of time.
- Had been a charter Member and President of both the Jaycees Club, Rae Bareli and Rotary Club, Rae Bareli. Had also been the President of Rae Bareli Sindhu Samaj for 12 continuous years.
- Is presently functioning as the President of the Rae Bareli Degree College Education Trust and President of the Managing Committee of Feroze Gandhi College, Rae Bareli.
- Is also functioning as the Vice President of Rae Bareli Club.
Message
Feroze Gandhi College, Rae Bareli is the premier hub for the generation and dissemination of knowledge and imparting scholarly higher education to the young generation in Rae Bareli District. It aims to cater to the needs of preserving the core traditional cultural values of Indian society and responding to the challenges of innovations in higher education, both anticipated and unanticipated. The College, I am confident, is destined to carve its own ‘niche’ in future among the top institutions of higher education in India as per the wishes of its Founder President, late Feroze Gandhi- an outstanding Parliamentarian and its Founder Managing Secretary, late Onkar Nath Bhargava- a devoted social worker and educationist. The Managing Committee of the College will always remain dedicated to selflessly serve the institution with integrity and commitment with all the abilities at its command for making the institution excel in teaching- learning and research activities.
