1. Cultural Programme of the College organised by the Cultural Club 'Pankh'- 11.06.2024 and 13.06.2024
Students of the College participated in the Cultural Programme 2023- 24 held on 11.06.2024 and 13.06.2024 under the auspices of ‘Pankh’- the Cultural Club of Feroze Gandhi College, Rae Bareli. The Programme was sponsored by the Culture Department, Government of UP and the Bhatkhande Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Lucknow.
On 11.06.2024, the events on song and dance were organised. Kushagra Dwivedi, Aman and Md Amir were awarded the first prize, second prize and third prize respectively in the song competition. Yuvraj Soni was awarded the first prize, Sakshi Dwivedi, Ankita Tiwari and Akriti Maurya were jointly awarded the second prize and Mahak Mishra was awarded the third prize in the dance competition.
On 13.06.2024, the events on drama and poster- making and painting were organised. Aman, Prachi and Abhishek Saurabh were awarded the first prize, second prize and third prize respectively in drama. Umme Aiman was awarded the first prize, Shruti was awarded the second prize and Akriti Maurya was awarded the third prize in the poster- making and painting competition.
The performance of the students, which they put up at a short notice, was widely appreciated. The office bearers and members of the Cultural Club ‘Pankh’ including the Co In- charge, Dr. Arvind Singh, In- charge of the Programme, Dr. Shamini Srivastava, Convener, Shri Vishnu Sharan Tripathi, Treasurer, Dr. Pravesh Kumar and Secretary, Dr. Sonam Rawat working under the leadership of the Principal of the College, Prof. Manoj Kumar Tripathi, made whole hearted efforts against the constraints of time and circumstances to ensure the success of the programme.
2. Yoga Oath- 13.06.2024
‘Yoga Oath’ was administered to the students of the College by the Principal, Prof. Manoj Kumar Tripathi and Programme Officer of NSS, Dr. Ajendra Singh on 13.06.2024 as a run up to the International Yoga Day on 21.06.2024.
3. The 97th Birth Anniversary of the Founder Managing Secretary, Late Onkar Nath Bhargava- 14.06.2024
Glowing tributes were paid to the Founder Managing Secretary of the College, Late Onkar Nath Bhargava by the office bearers and members of the Managing Committee, the Principal, the serving and retired teachers and non- teaching staff members of the College in ‘Bhavanjali’- the programme organised to commemorate the 97th birth anniversary of Late Onkar Nath Bhargava on 14.06.2024. The President of the Managing Committee, Er. S.L. Chandwani, Senior Vice President, Shri Rajeeva Bhargava, Managing Secretary, Er. Atul Bhargava, Joint Secretary, Dr. S.K. Pandey, former Principal, Dr. R.B. Verma and Professor and Head of the Department of Sociology, Prof. U.B. Singh spoke richly about the phenomenal contribution and the vision of Late Onkar Nath Bhargava as an institution builder, an adminstrator and a social thinker. The programme was presided over by the President of the Managing Committee, Er. S.L. Chandwani and conducted by Dr. Ajendra Singh. The Principal, Prof. Manoj Kumar Tripathi welcomed all the guests and the Secretary of Teachers’ Association, Shri Subhash Chandra proposed a vote of thanks.
4. Press Conference- 15.06.2024
A customary press conference was organised in Feroze Gandhi College, Rae Bareli on 15.06.2024 as a prelude to the academic session 2024- 25. The Senior Vice President, Shri Rajeeva Bhargava, Managing Secretary, Er. Atul Bhargava, Joint Secretary, Dr. S.K. Pandey, Principal, Prof. Manoj Kumar Tripathi, IQAC Coordinator, Shri Shailendra Tripathi and Head, Department of Sociology, Prof. U.B. apprised the print and electronic media corps of Rae Bareli of the achievements of the College during the academic session 2023- 24, plans for the development of the College in the academic session 2024- 25 and the process of online admissions to be adopted for the admission of the students to all Under Graduate and Post Graduate academic programmes from the academic session 2024- 25.
5. International Yoga Day- 21.06.2024
The 10th International Yog Day was celebrated with enthusiasm in Feroze Gandhi College, Rae Bareli in early morning on 21.06.2024. More than 100 participants including the Principal, Prof. Manoj Kumar Tripathi, teachers and students of the College participated in the programme. The Nodal Officer for the Programme, Dr. Ajendra Pratap Singh apprised the students of the journey of International Yog Day from its first year in 2015 to the 10th year in 2024 and threw light upon its theme- “Karain Yog, Rahain Neerog” for the present year. Dr. Subhash Chandra and Smt. Anita Bajpai trained the students in yogic aasans and praanaayaams.
