- Secured B.Sc. (Agriculture and Animal Husbandry) degree from the C.S. Aazad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur, U.P. in the year 1994.
- Secured M.Sc. (Agricultural Entomology) degree from the C.S. Aazad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur, U.P. in the year 1996.
- Pursued doctoral research work on the research topic “Studies on the mango bud mite Aceria Mangiferae Sayed and its Control” and secured his Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Entomology from the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (B.H.U.), Varanasi, U.P. in the year 2001.
- Qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET)/ Agricultural Research Scientist (ARS) examination conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi in the year 1998.
- After selection by the U.P. Higher Education Services Commission, joined services as a Lecturer in the Department of Entomology, Faculty of Agricultural Science, T.D. P. G. College, Jaunpur in the year 2001.
- Was promoted as an Associate Professor in the year 2013 and as a Professor on 01.11.2021 under the provisions of the U.G.C.- Career Advancement Scheme (CAS).
- After being selected as a Principal by the U.P. Higher Education Services Commission (U.P.H.E.C.), joined services as the Principal, Feroze Gandhi College, Rae Bareli on 01.09.2022.
- Was awarded the Young Scientist Award by the Society for Scientific Development in Agriculture and Technology in the year 2017.
- Has published more than 30 research papers in reputed national and international journals and has written several popular articles in newspapers and magazines.
- Has supervised the doctoral research works of 03 students for the award for Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Entomology.
Message
Having been founded by its visionary founding fathers on the rocksolid foundations of the higher principle of service through education and standing tall on a rich legacy over the last 63 years of its existence, Feroze Gandhi College, Rae Bareli has earned a name and fame for itself among the institutions of higher education in the State of Uttar Pradesh. An educational institution is known by the professional conduct and achievements of its teachers and the discipline and learning outcomes of its students and it’s a matter of great satisfaction for everyone concerned that the on these parameters the College stands out among the other equivalent institutions. Many of the alumni of the College have served the society with distinction and have made significant contributions in different walks of life. While preserving its core values and incorporating the newer challenges of technological and educational innovations, the College is currently positioned to successfully implementing the National Education Policy 2020 and preparing the young students for standing firm on their their feet after passing out from the College so that they can become self- reliant in life and can make their contribution to the national objective of an “Atmnirbhar and Viksit Bharat” by 2047.
