Department History
As been related to Gandhi family FGC has very prestigious history.
Department of Zoology started functioning with B.Sc. classes in the year 1968 and Dr. Vinod Krishna Srivastava took over as the first head of the department. The department acquired P.G. status in 1978 and various well qualified academicians joined the department :
Active research on biopesticides, toxicology, Genetics, Parasitology, environment and microbiology are going on in the department.
